In 2012, Lisa founded My Social Canvas with a desire to combine her passions of fashion, social responsibility, and mentorship. She has never looked back. My Social Canvas combines scholarship and fashion design opportunities for students in the United States and Canada with social impact by producing and selling selected student designs to benefit various non-profit partners. My Social Canvas also has a Campus Representative program at over 50 high schools and colleges designed to give students professional experience in Business, Fashion, Technology, Marketing, and Public Relations.

My Social Canvas is a New York City-based fashion technology company that involves students in creating collections for a cause. We love getting students excited to participate in the design of amazing products that make a difference.

My Social Canvas has recently partnered with Dayle Haddon’s non-profit WomenOne, Whole Foods Market and the Whole Planet Foundation, and Lionsgate Film Studio's The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1.

The most recent design competition included a panel of high profile judges in fashion, entertainment, and philanthropy, including Christy Turlington Burns, Founder of Every Mother Counts, fashion icon and UNICEF Ambassador, Dayle Haddon, Desiree Gruber, Producer for the hit show Project Runway, Anne Fulenwider, Editor in Chief of Marie Claire Magazine, and Erin Flaherty Beauty & Health Director of Marie Claire, Gossip Girl actress and women's advocate Kelly Rutherford, and fashion designer Catherine Malandrino. Lisa personally has been interviewed on the SiriusXM segment Launchpad through the Wharton School of Business, has been a guest speaker at Nordstroms BP’s Fashion Board events, and featured in the Huffington Post. In 2015, Lisa was honored by her alma mater, Hartwick College and was selected as Young Alumni of the Year. This award is a prestigious honor for recent graduates, as it highlights one alumni that has achieved success in business and by making an impact on the world at large! My Social Canvas was also recently one of five start-up companies chosen to participate in the Baker-Simpson Entrepreneurial Fellowship Program. Lisa is grateful to be living out the My Social Canvas mantra of designing a life and career she loves each and every day!

Since the beginning, the heart of My Social Canvas has been much more than fashion. My true passion has always been supporting young women and girls of all ages as they pursue their dreams in school, business, and life.
